SolarPlus Case Study

Overview

SolarPlus is a solar design, sales, CRM and  installation company that specializes in providing solar solutions to residential and commercial customers. The company has been in business for over 10 years and has a strong reputation in the industry.

Objectives

  • SolarPlus approached me with the following objectives for their website redesign:
    • Increase the number of leads generated through the website
    • Improve the website’s user experience and overall design
    • Showcase their expertise and experience in the solar industry
    • Increase website traffic and search engine visibility

Approach

To achieve these objectives, I took the following approach:

Discovery Phase

During the discovery phase, I conducted a comprehensive analysis of SolarPlus’s business, target audience, and competitors. I also gathered feedback from the Solar Plus team on their goals, preferences, and expectations for the website. Based on our research, I identified the following key insights:

SolarPlus’s target audience consists of homeowners and business owners who are interested in solar panel installations.
The website should reflect Solar Plus’s commitment to sustainability and showcase their expertise in the solar industry.
The website should be optimized for search engines and provide a clear path for visitors to request a quote and learn more about Solar Plus’s offerings.

Design Phase

In the design phase, I worked closely with the Solar Plus team to create a custom design that aligns with their brand and message. I used a clean and modern design approach with bold colors, high-quality images, and clear calls to action. I also added a section on the website that showcases Solar Plus’s completed projects and customer testimonials.

Development Phase

In the development phase, we built the website using WordPress CMS with a custom theme and plugins. We optimized the website for speed, security, and search engine visibility, and integrated it with Solar Plus’s customer relationship management (CRM) system. We also added several custom features, including:
